The Lewistown Fire Protection District provides fire and rescue as well as BLS response for the Lewistown area. The department is made up of approximately 25 volunteer members. The team responds to approximately 500 calls annually.

Programs & Activities
Fire prevention program are put on for local schools and fire safety programs are given to various groups upon request.
CPR and First Responder classes are held for members. Classes can be scheduled for community members if there is enough interest.
The volunteers are currently working on restoring their 1937 Dodge pumper which was purchased new by the district in the fall of 1936. Donations are being accepted.
