Celebrate the importance of butterflies and other insects at the Pollinator Party! Renowned entomologist Jim Wiker will present information about a variety of pollinators. Jim’s personal insect specimens and parts of the Illinois State Museum entomology collections will be on display.
Participants will also learn about native plants, paint pottery, create homes for native bees, and experience many other hands-on science and art activities.
Kid’s Day programs are for kids ages 5 years old and up with an adult. No registration is required. Admission is free; however, donations are appreciated.
