The Lewistown Society for Historic Preservation will be hosting the first of four public educational events featuring the history of Lewistown and Fulton County. Rick Klinedinst, President of our local MidAmerica National Bank and widely-recognized Lincoln enthusiast and presenter, will offer an engaging program on Abraham Lincoln with special emphasis on Mr. Lincoln’s time in Fulton County. Also featured in the program will be a short dramatization of Mary Todd Lincoln by Carol Davis.

Rick Klinedinst is a life-long resident of Canton and is the President of MidAmerica National Bank. He is a graduate of Canton High School, Spoon River College, Western Illinois University, and several banking schools. Klinedinst current serves as a trustee for Spoon River College and the Recruitment of Business committee for Spoon River Economic Development. He is a member of Wesley United Methodist Church in Canton. As a Lincoln enthusiast, Klinedinst has given many talks on Lincoln, his family, and other interesting aspects of his life.
